Various products such as magnalium (6063)LDRE, heat-resisting aluminum alloy (6063-Zr) and others exploited and produced by the company are widely used as the over-current conductors by the projects of transformer substations and convertor stations of 220KV, 500kV, 750kV, ±800kV and 1000kV and the large current DC-based deicing devices of all provincial and municipal electric power companies. All these series of products are manufactured and produced through elaborate compounding and numerous processes of hot-top casting, horizontal punching hot-rolling, thermo-mechanical treatment and multi-pass cold-drawn molding at the same level and have held the leading position in the market share for many years. The products are exported to Nigeria, Sudan, Zambia, India, Vietnam and Tajikistan and other countries.

The Major Parameter and Performance of Busbar:

 

Tubular busbar is a kind of hollow conductor with good thermal convection, low temperature rising and small loss.

 

The skin effect coefficient is small, and the current distribution is in uniformity; and electric current density can reach to 1.4A/mm2.

 

Favorable of increasing corona starting voltage;

 

Easy to install and maintain, easy to connect; small floor area, only one third of that of the flexible circuit conductor;

 

Compact inner grain structure with strong corrosion resistance; resistant for icing with strong anti-disaster ability;

 

6Z63 high strength heat-resisting aluminum alloy tubular busbar can operate safely under the circumstance of 150°C to 200°C; and under the circumstance of 250°C, its strength of extension still can keep above 88% of that under the normal temperature, so it is widely used in de-icing unit engineering and high-capacity transformer substation projects.
